Here is a charming studio apartment of 23 square meters, situated on the 6th floor with lift to the 5th. This apartment has been totally renovated during the first 2 months of 2012, keeping its previous charm but with an obvious upgrade. It's located at 20 meters from the famous Place de l'Opéra, facing the Café de la Paix. Its small balcony, in typical Parisian style, overlooks the Opéra roof and the Boulevard des Capucines.
This is a budget studio apartment for an excellent rate! It's also perfect for a couple discovering Paris during a romantic weekend or a extended holiday.

The apartment

The building is well secured. The first door is closed during the night. The second door is always closed and has a pincode.
The apartment has a little kitchen area with all utilities you need to prepare a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The main area, with an authentic wooden floor, has a little sofa and dining table with 2 chairs. From all angles it is possible to watch any of the 200 (international) channels available.
There are 2 single beds which can be put together so they form one big double bed. Very practical indeed!
The bathroom is as clean and modern as possible, with a shower, sink and mirror and toilet.
There's also a little balcony, overlooking the famous Café de la Paix and the Opéra rooftop and the Capunines street. There's double glazing windons.

The Opera neighborhood

There are lots of french and international restaurants in the vicinity. 5 minutes away, are the Louvre Museum, Palais Royal gardens, the Grands Boulevards and the famous Passages Ways. Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées are less than 20 minutes on foot. Just behind the apartment building is the most expensive street in the French version of Monopoly: rue de la Paix, famous for all its jewellers, headed by the shop opened by Cartier in 1898. Connected to this street is Place Vendôme, with is famous Column, but more known for its expensive designer shops and Hôtel Ritz Paris, "the Ritz".
It is therefore a privileged neighborhoud where you have everything within reach, right in the center of the city.

Transport connexions

If you are looking for comfortable transport, you're in the right place as Place d'Opéra is a real transport hub. Only 100 meters away at Place d'Opéra are metro lines 3,7,8 which takes you anywhere into Paris. RER line A takes you to EURODISNEY within 45 minutes. There are also plenty of bus lines, going in all directions of Paris (20,21,22,27,29,42,52,53,66,68,81,95).

Airport connexion

The Airport shuttle bus RoissyBus is also on Place de l'Opéra and takes you directly to or from the Charles de Gaulle airport within 45 and 60 minutes.

Traveling in numbers?

This apartment is owned by Bernard and he also owns Paris Room Rental apartment Opera Vendome 2, which is only 5 minutes down the road. So if you are 4/5 persons, you can also rent both apartments, rather than one bigger one. Like this you still enjoy your privacy as a couple while your only donw the road of each other.

We were the first couple to stay following a renovation. This apartment has been beautifully decorated and furnished and is ideal for a couple. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bathroom large and modern - this apartment had everything you need, including wi-fi. The location couldn't be better with shops, supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance. There was a little balcony with views of the Opera House. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this apartment - can't wait to return!

Raccomando sinceramente a tutti coloro che si recano a Parigi, per lavoro o per svago, questo appartamento. La posizione è ottima, facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto mediante un bus navetta e a due passi da una delle principali fermate della metro. Ciò rende facilissimi i collegamenti dentro e fuori la città. La zona è bellissima, da lì si possono raggiungere a piedi i luoghi più belli della città. L'appartamento è inoltre vicino all'ufficio del turismo e al punto di raccolta delle escursioni. Bernard è una persona squisita e molto disponibile. L'appartamento è provvisto di tutto ciò di cui puoi avere bisogno durante il tuo sogiorno. Sicuramente tornerò lì nel mio prossimo viaggio a Parigi. Buon viaggio!

Bonjour! This was my first trip to Paris, and like many others I struggled through the process of trying to find a place to stay that I could also afford. Without knowing the area, it was difficult to choose a place, even if it was a good price. As I continued my search, my friend found a like for these apartments, and with some hesitation, I agreed to stay in the Opera Vendome. It was the best decision I have ever made in choosing a hotel. First of all, the price was very affordable, which I was very happy about. Second, Bernard was not only extremely kind, but fluent in English. While I do know some French, I do not know enough to carry a conversation. It was a great relief to arrive there and find that he understood us perfectly. Third, Bernard provides everything you will need. He has a safe, an iron, a kettle, a stove top, a coffee maker, a fridge, cups, plates, silverware, cleaning supplies, towels, blankets, pillows, an adapter…there was not one thing I lacked. In addition to all of that, he also supplied my friend and me with a phone so we could call him if we ran into problems. We didn’t have any problems though because he also supplied a little blue folder showing where the local grocery store is, some cafés, bakeries, doctors, dentist, metro…etc. He truly has thought of everything! He even showed us where we could adjust the water for the shower if needed! The location is great as well. You can take the Roissybus from the airport (MUCH cheaper than a taxi) and his apartment is right around the corner. In addition, the entrance to the metro is at the corner ~ very convenient as well! In traveling to other areas, we also noticed that the location of our apartment is in a safe and clean area. It wasn’t cluttered with garbage or riffraff. I will definitely contact him for future arrangements and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is going to Paris. I was so glad we had the opportunity to stay with him for our first trip to Paris! Oh! Just a few quick facts about me to put this all in perspective…I’m a single, 31 yr old, female, and again – found it to be perfect. Cheryl
