Question : Are your Paris apartments furnished?
Response : Yes. All our listed apartments are fully furnished, with furniture, a bed, a kitchen, a toilet, a shower, heating system, etc ...

Q. Can I use the kitchen for cooking?
R. Yes. All our kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utilities.

Q. Is the price mentioned for the whole apartment or per person?
R. The price is for the whole apartment to rent, not per person. We might ask you an additional fee if we need to provide extra sleeping places within the accommodation you are staying.

Q. What does the price include?
R. Our rental rates are ALL-INCLUSIVE, unless told differently on the apartment page. In other words, there are no extra charges or taxes! The rates include linens/towels, taxes, electricity, water and if provided; international telephone service (i.e. internet access for laptops)

Q. The information during the online PayPal payment is in French, can we not change the language?
R. Unfortunatly, as Paris Room Rental is based in France, this is not possible. However, we have the information translated into a free to download document in PDF format:

Q. What are the days of arrival and departure for the period I rent the apartment?
R. Arrivals and departures can be any day of the week. There are no fixed days, but please let the owner of the apartment know about your arrival and departure details, such as the dates and time.

Q. I am still not sure of my trip plan. After having confirmed my reservation, would it be possible to change my dates of arrival and departure?
R. Yes. If the selected rental apartment is not available for your new dates, you will need to select another apartment until you find a suitable one for you without any charge. However, description and price of the new accommodations might be different and you might have to pay up the difference.

Q. There are no apartments avaialable for the dates I require, can Paris Room Rental please help me out?
R. Yes, we can still help you. Eg. you can rent 2 seperate apartments on our website to cover your stay. We've already had clients doing this before. We also have contacts within Paris who can help us find you the right apartment.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
R. We refund all cancellations that occur at least three months prior to customer's arrival date.

Q. If I decide to extend my stay, is it possible to stay longer in my apartment?
R. If the apartment is available for the extra time you like to stay it will not be a problem at all. Though, if the apartment is not available, we'll try to find alternative accommodation within the same price rate. Although, we cannot garentee you beforehand that it is possible and for what rate.

Q. Are your Paris apartments all centrally located and near public transportation?
R. Yes. All our rental apartments are all located in central Paris, near tourist attractions and business centers. Each of our listed apartments is at most 5 minute walk from a Paris Metro Station, RER station, or a Paris bus stop.

Q. Do you arrange the transfer from the airport to the accommodation?
R. No. We don't do the transfers ourselves but we work with Royal Transfer, who do not only do airport transfers, but also tranfers from and to Euro Disney or Versailles and even private sightseeing tours in Paris. They have very good rates indeed and you can book online or ask us to book them for you.

Q. How must I collect the apartment keys?
R. The collection or return of keys will take place at the apartment you will be staying, unless otherwise specified on the apartment webpage or other agreements with the owner.

Q. What happens if we arrive and the apartment is not how it is presented on the website? What if it is not clean, for example? What assurance do we have that it is well maintained and that the pictures on the website accurately portray its condition?
R. The photos on the website are images of the rental apartments themselves and they are taken by the owners themselves, not professionals. In reality, the apartment is better than the photos. Most of the apartments are cleaned by the owners and they really know that a client unhappy is a client lost.

Q. I noticed that the Terms & Conditions indicate the owner can carry out urgent work in the apartment. How does this work? Will the owner contact us first? Will he/she just stop in? How do we know our items are secure if the owner can come and go as he/she pleases?
R. With urgent work we mean that you called the owner because there is a problem. The owners have other work next to renting their holiday rental accommodation, so you will meet him/her only for check-in and check-out. The rest of the time it will be your home, nobody will be knocking on the door every day to check the mini bar or if you make your bed.

Q. Are there any references or letters for (eg.) Beaubourg Pompidou from people who have recently stayed there (I didn't see any on the website)?
R. We don't have apartment reviews for all our apartments. We do ask our clients feedback after their stay and we also invite them to write their apartment testimonial. Unfortunately not all our clients return to us with a testimonial. You can change that buy returning us an objective review :)
We do have quite a few reviews for our apartments Opera Vendome and Opera Vendome 2. These are the ones which are owned by Bernard and we have put the clients' feedback on our website, which he has collected over the last 5 years.
